Good News

This morning we had our first ultrasound with Dr. N. He informed us that we have 9 eggs. He said he would have liked to see 15 to 20, but we knew going into it that I would have half the amount most girls my age would have. He did say the ones that I have look good. They also did blood work I am guessing I will hear about that later. But anyways I am so happy about my 9 eggs. The time is getting closer. I am so excitied!!!!!

BEP Concert

This past weekend on Saturday I went to the Black Eyed Peas Concert with two of my best friends. We had a blast!!!! The concert was awesome. Thank you so much Melissa for inviting me to go with you. It was a much needed girls night.

Last Wednesday I started my shots and taking the pill. So far it is going good. Of course I don't like the shot, but it is not too bad. I definitely have to give it to myself, a coworker tried to do it the first time and there was no way. But anyways everything is going good. I have been really tired. But that is one of the side effects. I also stopped the birth control on Sunday. I am really not ready for that cycle to start it is going to be a big pain. This Thursday I go to see Dr. N. hope there is good news and everything looks good. He will do an ultrasound and do blood work. IVF update

Last Tuesday I received my medication. It was a huge box by the way. It was a little overwhelming. By coordinator had called me the week before and went over everything with me so I would know what meds needed to be in the fridge and what did not. She is very helpful. Her name is Peggy. I love her. If I have any questions she always gets back with me that same day.

The big process starts this Wednesday the 17th. I am excited for it to finally be here. I have my calender of when I take what meds ready to go on the fridge. I can't believe that in less than a month I will be in St. Louis. We have an appt. with Dr. N. 3/25/10 for an ultrasound then we go back again 4/5/10 for another ultrasound and blood work. We leave 4/6/10 after we get off work to drive to St. Louis and we have an appt. the 7th with Dr. Ahlering and we go from there. I hope everyone has a great week. Trip to Mississippi

This past weekend we went to Mississippi for Chris's grandma's birthday. We left on Thursday and got there Friday afternoon. I love going to Mississippi, it is so pretty. We had a lot of fun got to see lots of family that I have not seen in awhile. It was a very short trip though, we came home on Sunday. I am so glad we were able to go. I love all his family, they are all so caring. I can't wait till the next trip!!!
